Historical Fiction seems to be one of those genres that people either love or hate. For too long, too many folk thought of it as poorly written, just about war or 'bodice-ripping' romance. Some are not even sure what constitutes historical fiction - does it involve real people, real events or is it completely made up but set a few years ago?
My task is to show, from A to Z, how much quality and variety actually exists in books set in the past. From ancient empires to world wars, from the great and the good to the unknowns - the scope is huge.
I hope you will be pleasantly surprised.
