Growing in Damp Places by A.J. Sefton

Review by Ali Doyle
Thoroughly enjoyed this 'allotment noir' as I followed Jayden, the hapless uni student, get more than he bargained for when he becomes entangled with the 'boring' allotment tending pensioners and the secrets they are determined to keep.

It's a fast paced easy read with an imaginative and unique plot, reminiscent of Harlan Coben's YA novels. I would definitely recommend this novel - who knew horticulture was so thrilling?!
