The Interview by C.M. Ewan

Picture
There are some good interview tips in this book. At the start, anyway, then it turns into the worst interview ever. Some unusual psychometric questions are quickly followed by a disappearing interviewer. Except he hasn't disappeared at all, he is watching as the interviewee tries to get out of a locked room.

This is a fast and tense thriller with few characters. It is written mainly from the first person point of view of the interviewee, with a few chapters from other characters in the third person. However, the attempts to escape from the locked building did go on for a very long time and it is a bit too much.

An original premise and brilliant opening. A great read for those who like 'cat and mouse' type of thrillers.
